Fall 2020 Animal Tales
Grumpy or Just Misunderstood?
Don't let Sasha's grumpy face fool you. She's actually a sweetheart! Which is why we were puzzled when the family who adopted her in April returned her in May. They just couldn't understand why Sasha kept urinating on the rug, even though they kept her litter box clean. We wondered if there was more to the story...

Letty: The Ultimate Makeover
Letty: The Ultimate Makeover
It's hard to imagine, but Letty was once in very bad shape. Found on a back road in Georgia, she was bald and infected from mange. HAWC: Healing Abuse Working for Change
New Partnership Provides Safety for People and Pets
When someone needs to escape domestic violence, they often delay leaving because of concern for their pet's safety if left behind. Our new partnership with Healing Abuse Working for Change (HAWC) is removing an important barrier. When a survivor is ready to leave, we will work directly with HAWC to place their pet in a vetted, safe foster home while the owner settles into a more stable living situation.

Timber
Hi, I'm Timber! I'm 7 months old and full of teenage energy. You can usually find me romping around the yard carrying a tennis ball in my mouth or being a goofball with all my doggo friends. I absolutely love saying hi to new people, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Katie
If you appreciate a classy lady who knows what she wants, then I am your gal! I'm looking for a relaxing home where I can have my own room to play and sunbathe in — like the diva I am. I'll admit I can be a little nervous, but I am really sweet and affectionate once I get to know you, so don't be shy!
